1.  "JOE" JOSEPH CALVIN⁴ MCMAHAN  (WILLIAM RILEY³, JOHN D. MCMAHAN² (?), JAMES F. MCMAHAN¹ SR.) was born May 1860 in Hardin County Tennessee, and died 29 December 1928 in Erath County, Texas.  He married MELISSA M. BLANKENSHIP 07 March 1886 in Erath County, Texas, daughter of JOSEPH BLANKENSHIP and AMERICA JEFFERS.  She was born March 1868 in Texas, and died 11 July 1937 in Erath County, Texas.
