Nancy ROBERTS, my ggrandmother, married 1) W.L.D. CROW who died in the Civil War, 2) John P. GIBSON in Troy, AL in 1868. GIBSON died after 1870. She married 3) Berry LAMBERT. I think they must have married in TX as there is no record of their marriage in AL. They lived in what was called Grand Ranche, which I understand was near Gordon in Palo Pinto County, TX. Since there is no record of the marriage in Palo Pinto, I wonder if they might have married in Erath County since Grand Ranch was so close to the county line. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Ray Holt

I am looking for burial place for Louisa Catherine (TISON) ALLEN. She was married 1) to my gg grandfather, John C GUTHRIE who died in Civil War. She mar. 2) Jesse Peterson ALLEN. They had three children: Carrie b. Wood Co. according to death cert.(mar Daniel SKILES Mar 3, 1882..both of them are buried in Johnson Cem. Dublin, Erath Co., Tx), Hardin A.(mar. Belle Unknown..probably died in Mitchell or Tarrant Co) and Laura A. (have no marriage info on her). Louisa died in 1873 according to family tradition and I find no trace of her and her family in the 1870 census. A dau by first marriage, Johnie GUTHRIE (8 yrs of age) would have also been living with the family. Any help on finding this family would be appreciated.

Looking for info on Huey Paul MAXWELL and Cindy Lou TALLEY. Both were born in TN about 1865. I do not know when they married or where, just that they had migrated to Dublin, Erath Co., TX at some point. I have the names and birth dates of their nine children and no more info. These two were my gr-grandparents and I would love to have more info farther back on my family. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
