- DAVISON, MILLER
posted by Bill Driggers on Saturday, February 21,

- I am researching for my great grandfather, name unknown. The only good lead
I have is a Christopher C. MILLER, born about 1820, Tennessee. His first wife
was Permelia, born 1824, TN. They had the following children: (Icela) Millie,
b 1848, TN; William M, b 1850, TN; Elisa, b 1852, MO; James K, b 1854, MO; Kaney,
b 1855, MO; and Missouri, b 1860, AK. This family is listed on the 1850 Tennessee
Census, Anderson County; 1860 and 1870 Arkansas Census living in Benton County.
His son, James K, was living next door to him on the 1880 Texas Census, Bosque
County. Christopher C. married Tempy, date unknown, she was b. 1835, TN. The
children listed on the 1880 Texas Census: Willie Ann, b 1864, TN; Josphine,
b 1868, AK; and Christopher C, b March 1879, AK. I think this is my grandfather
who was born March 18, 1869 in AK and died June 27, 1951, Dallas, Dallas, Texas.
He is listed on the 1900 Texas Census living in the household with his mother,
Tempy, being 21 years old. Then on the 1910 Texas Census living in Dallas County,
34 years old, married to my grandmother, Addie DAVISON. My grandfather use to
talk about growing up in Bosque County, Hico, Hamilton, Texas, and his father
fought at Bull Run in the Civil War.
