Would like to share information regarding William GIBSON of Pope Co. AR and his wife, Angeline (?) REASONER, who moved from Crawford Co. AR by 1850 and to Erath/Palo Pinto Co.s TX about 1860. William GIBSON'S father was my gggrandfather. Need help in locating the GIBSON family on census before 1830. Have much information to share on both the GIBSON and REASONER lines, as well as the siblings of William.

I am searching for any info on William H. JAMES b 1865 in Granbury, Hood Co., TX. Married Eliza Jane DAY 22 Dec 1888 in Granbury, Hood Co., TX. Had the following children: Roy Day b abt 1894, Thomas Elvis b 27 May 1900, Jesse B. b 21 Oct 1903, William Basil b 22 Dec 1906. I know William H. died in Acton, Hood Co., TX on 7 Aug 1929 and was buried in the Acton Cemetery, but I'm trying to find out what the "H" stands for in the middle name. Roy Day JAMES married Winnie TIDWELL and also Anna Lee CLEVELAND. Thomas Elivs married Annie Bell KAYLOR. Don't know anything about Jesse B. or William Basil. Surely there has to be some descendants that may know where these people settled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

His first wife is unknown Had ch: Mollie b 1866 and Cora. 2)m Georgeann LOVELADY, May 28, 1871 in Collin Co. CH:Otto, Martha Ellen, John S, Emma May, Ethel B, Fannie and Robert. In 1880 Bell Co. census a Henrietta LOVELADY was listed as step-daughter. Family lived in Bell co(1880 Bell Co Census), Cooke Co. (1900) and Tom Green Co. (1910). 3) mar Annie Unknown and was living in Erath Co. when he died in 1920. Any info will be appreciated.

I am looking for information on the BABER and JACKSON families. My Grandfather was George Arthur JACKSON and Grandmother was Lola Marie BABER. They lived in Bluffdale, Texas. I have some info on Grandfather but nothing on Grandmother. She died in the 1930s. They are both buried at Rock church. I know nothing of my grandmothers history. Thank you for your time.

Looking for information on the Jesse MILLER and Marshall WOODS families. My great-grandfather Jesse's son was also name Jesse. My grandfather Jesse MILLER married Opal WOODS. They had 9 children: Harwood, Orville, Lowell Wayne, R.D. "Craig", Bobby, Gene, Alta and Ann (know 7). My grandfather, John Marshall WOODS lived in Morgan Mill and operated a cotton mill there. Married to Margaret Eleanor MC BRIDE, 1886 in Tennessee. I have a copy of a 20+ page family history beginning with Hugh M. HARRISON and listing many grand-children of George CAPERTON. It was given to me by Mrs. Thelma Page of Arizona.

Known Children: Willie David, born Oct 8, 1879 in AL died Mar 10, 1932 in Erath County, Texas; Samuel Dewitt "Dee" SANDERS born Nov 11, 1888 in Anniston, Calhoun Co, AL, died June 15, 1953 in Big Spring, Howard County, TX. It is possible that Dee was born in Dublin, Texas. Any information on this SANDERS/MORRIS line would be appreciated. I know nothing else about this part of my family. .

George W. LEWIS, b. 16 Nov 1844--26 Jan 1941 married in Llano Co., TX. in abt. 1864 Sarah Jane LOYD, b. 24 Jun 1847-5 Nov 1905. They moved to Atascosa Co. in 1875 and were in the 1880 Frio Co., TX census. They were in the 1900 Somervell Co., TX census. Both are buried in the Nancy Smith Cemetery in Somervell Co. along with their daughters Safornia and Mary Ellen and families. Their children were Alva, 1865; Safornia, 12 May 1867-20 Nov 1941; Mary Ellen, 14 Jan 1869-11 Nov 1946; David, 1871; and James, 1873. Safornia married Robert L. STEWART (26 Oct 1866-9 Jan 1944)); Mary Ellen married George M. MCCOY (16 Jun 1868-3 Feb 1944) in Erath Co., TX. .
